Education
Sajeda Ali holds a Bachelor’s in Islamic Studies (Ma‘aref-e-Islami) from Hawza Ilmiyya Qom, Iran, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Family Counseling. She also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), India, bringing together an exceptional blend of analytical and spiritual education. Her multilingual fluency in English, Urdu, Farsi, and Hindi allows her to connect with students and audiences across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Professional Development
Her scholarly development is deeply rooted in advanced Islamic learning. She has completed the Tarh-e-Wilayat program under Ayatollah Misbah Yazdi, covering six foundational branches—Epistemology, Theology, Anthropology, Ethics, Law, and Politics. She has also undertaken specialized certifications in Islamic Counseling, Islamic Lifestyle Design, Creativity & Story Writing, and the Intellectual Legacy of Shaheed Murtaza Mutahhari, along with Advanced Qur’anic Studies (Ma‘aref-e-Qur’an Series). Together, these programs shaped her into a multidimensional scholar, thinker, and educator.
Corporate Experience
Before dedicating her career to Islamic education, Sajeda Ali worked in the software industry for over three years. She began as a Software Developer at Kanbay International Inc. and Capgemini Technology Services, and later served as Team Manager – Software Development at Citi Bank, Singapore. Her corporate background in project management and team leadership equipped her with organizational discipline, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills that continue to enhance her educational and community initiatives.
Transition to Spiritual Pursuits
Guided by a profound sense of purpose, Sajeda Ali transitioned from a successful corporate career to full-time Islamic scholarship in Qom, Iran. Her journey reflects a deep spiritual awakening and a commitment to serve humanity through knowledge. Integrating her analytical mindset with spiritual wisdom, she founded institutions and programs that empower women and youth to rediscover faith, purpose, and self-development within the framework of Islam.
Teaching and Training
As an accomplished educator and public speaker, Sajeda Ali has conducted hundreds of lectures, workshops, and classes in India, Iran, and Oman—both in person and online. Her teaching portfolio includes Qur’anic studies, theology, family dynamics, media awareness, time management, women’s jurisprudence, and moral psychology. She serves as an instructor at Siddiqa-tu-Zahra Islamic Seminary, Zainabiya Seminary, and various international summer camps. Her Mafaheem-e-Qur’an Word-by-Word Course has benefited over 5,000 students worldwide and is taught in more than ten Sunday schools globally.
Cultural Contributions and Philanthropy
Beyond academia, Sajeda Ali has been at the forefront of humanitarian and cultural upliftment. She is the Founder of Muntaziran-e-Zuhoor Charity Organization (Qom) and Apekshaa Charity Organization (NIT India), and formerly headed WeKare Charity Organization at Kanbay International. These initiatives have led community-based projects across multiple cities, promoting education, welfare, and social responsibility. Through her leadership, teaching, and philanthropy, Sajeda Ali continues to bridge faith, intellect, and compassion—empowering individuals and transforming communities.
